Introduction

The Uechi-Ryu Journal examines issues within the scope of Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do. Aspects of the style may be presented in article form free of charge for the Martial Arts community.

The primary function of the Uechi-Ryu Journal is to provide a freely accessible journal on a quarterly basis through the user friendly and highly accessible medium of the Internet, that widens the target audience and authorship of interested Uechi-Ryu stylists.

The Uechi-Ryu Journal aims to provide new insights, opinions and applications into key issues and subjects of contemporary interest that are emerging. The Uechi-Ryu Journal encourages publishing articles that point out time honored ideas for Uechi-Ryu, as well as alternative thoughts and concepts.
