Submission Guidelines

Works should be between 1000 - 5000 words, though longer articles will be read and considered. You should submit a precise introduction to your paper. Every author must submit a brief biography as well as the following information. All submissions should be submitted to editor@uechi-ryu-journal.com.

For payment of articles, the following additional criteria apply:

1. Minimum 3 photos to be included with works involving technical opinion.
2. Topics can include core Uechi-ryu themes as well as product/book reviews.
3. Material cannot be published elsewhere without express permission of Senior Editor of the Uechi-ryu Journal.
4. Accepted material should be suitable for mature, academic level readers.

Currently the Uechi-ryu Journal pays $25 (Canadian) via Paypal for accepted articles meeting all above mentioned criteria.

The editorial board will focus primarily on the merit and overall quality of submissions, but expect all submissions to be in standard form consistent to the needs of dedicated Uechi-Ryu stylists.
